Hand Woven Trivet

These beautiful trivets are hand woven from recycled sari fabric by women in a large red-light district in India.  As well as providing the women with economic freedom through employment, Love Calcutta Arts, endeavors to rebuild their sense of dignity and self-worth.  This tightly woven trivet is heavy duty and will protect surfaces from hot pans, and it doubles as a beautiful home décor statement piece when not in use. There are many color varieties.
