Lauren Walder

Lauren’s life has been transformed by the lovingkindness and grace of God. She grew up in Ohio in a loving family and came to know Christ as a teenager.   She had a rich spiritual heritage with many opportunities to grow and serve the Lord as a young person. Her and her husband met on a college mission trip and were drawn to each other by a similar passion to love and serve Christ.  They have enjoyed 30+ years in pastoral ministry and just celebrated their 40th anniversary. They live in Florida where you can find them out on the beach or biking whenever they get a chance!

In 2008, as a pastor’s wife in a small town in Indiana, Lauren became aware of human trafficking.   At first, she thought it was so evil that she didn’t want to believe it was happening.  Yet she began praying “Lord, if I have to know about this evil, please give me a way to make a difference!”  God’s answer to that prayer was to connect her with Bridges4Justice and His beautiful servants who seek to be bridges of His compassion and justice.

Lauren serves with B4J as the Prayer and Spiritual Life Facilitator and seeks to use the gifts and energy God gives her to stand in the gap for the oppressed, hurting and trafficked and devote herself to God’s good work of Biblical justice.  It is the Holy Spirit’s power she depends on because He is the Difference-Maker!

…but the people who know their God will be strong and take action.”  Daniel 11:32b

“When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.”  Proverbs 21:1
