Board Member- Education, Curriculum, and Church Mobilization
Karen grew up in Cleveland, Ohio in a very ethnic part of town. Her paternal grandparents were from the Ukraine and her maternal grandparents were from Italy, so she heard English, Italian and Ukrainian in her home. She left Cleveland at age 16 to attend Interlochen Arts Academy then went on to Drake University for a degree, but more importantly, she found her Lord Jesus there; or rather He found her! Her life radically changed from that moment on.
She married her husband, the love of her life, 46 years ago in Des Moines, Iowa. They have 2 grown children, 2 beautiful daughters-in- law and 5, almost 6 grandchildren. They reside in Janesville, Wisconsin and their children and grandchildren live there and in California. They are thankful that all of their children are following the Lord. Currently, they are retired and looking for ways each day to serve God.
